Gang Hu | President & CEO
Gang Hu has served as President and CEO of Greenland USA since November 2015.
With nearly twenty years of experience in real estate development planning, construction, sales and marketing, Mr. Hu oversees the development of Greenland USA’s $6 billion in assets and explores new opportunities. Mr. Hu joined Greenland Group in June 2003 as the assistant general director of the company’s Northeast Division, overseeing projects from preparation to completion. In this role he oversaw the construction of the 400,000-square-foot Shanghai City residential complex in Changchun, China. Prior to joining Greenland Group, he was the deputy general director of the Baltic Pearl project in St. Petersburg, the largest residential development in Russia, and was also deputy general director of the work on the region’s largest shopping center, Pearl Plaza, located within Baltic Pearl. Mr. Hu received his bachelor’s degree in construction management from the Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology.
Joshua Cohen | Vice President and General Counsel, Eastern Region
Joshua Cohen practiced real estate law at some of the largest NYC law firms, focusing on the representation of clients in the negotiation of all aspects of transactional commercial real estate, including acquisitions and dispositions, financings, joint ventures, leases and development. Joshua focused on all real estate asset classes, including office, multi-family, condominium and hospitality. During his private practice, Joshua completed over $5 Billion in real estate transactions. Joshua is currently Vice President and General Counsel – Eastern Region for Greenland USA, representing Greenland USA in all legal aspects relating to the Pacific Park Brooklyn project, a $6 Billion mixed-use development in Downtown Brooklyn being co-developed by Greenland USA and Forest City Ratner Companies. Joshua Cohen has a BA, summa cum laude, from Yeshiva University, a JD from Harvard Law School and an LLM (Taxation) from New York University School of Law.
