Sherry Li, the CEO and Founding Partner of C-Star, boasts over 14 years of global real estate experience in various leading institutions, where she was involved in all aspects of real estate. Prior to founding C-Star, Sherry served as a Director at Fosun Group, where she was a core M&A team member responsible for closing Fosun's acquisition of Everest Healthcare Properties, a real estate asset management platform. With her expertise in acquisition and portfolio management, Sherry played a pivotal role at Rosewood Investment Corporation, where she oversaw $4bn worth of real estate acquisitions and dispositions, and was responsible for managing a $7bn portfolio that included malls, office buildings, housing, and a large complex multifamily development project. Earlier in her career, Ms. Li conducted acquisition and asset management for Chambers Street Properties (NYSE: CSG), and started her real estate journey at DTZ, where she primarily focused on commercial real estate transactions.
Ms. Li received her master's degree concentrated in Real Estate from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She also holds dual bachelor's degrees in Economics and Urban Planning from Peking University.
